Fall is definitely here in Elko, and that means plenty of great events in October.
The Murals Are Done
The last week in September saw the mural artists descend on Elko for the Elko Mural Project. Even with less than favorable weather, the muralists tackled their wall with lots of energy. Come downtown and spend an hour or more enjoying the wonderful art. FMI: https://www.facebook.com/Elko-Arts-and-Culture-Advisory-Board-446390528764116/.

My favorits spot this year will be Thomas Canyon. Here is a photo from September 29th that gives a hint of what is coming.
